The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has condemned the terrorist car bomb attack that hit the Somali capital of Mogadishu and left at least 20 people killed and several injured.
OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al Othaimeen expressed strong denunciation of the attack that aims to undermine the stability of Somalia, where a power transition took place last week through the election of President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, which showed the country's determination to establish democracy and peace.
Al Othaimeen said such criminal acts should not weaken the new Somali government's resolve to achieve stability, peace and development in the country in order to serve the interests and ambitions of the Somali people.
