Attempts to smuggle marijuana and illegal cigarettes were foiled by Oman Customs, officials announced.
The Salalah International Airport Customs arrested an individual of Asian nationality for their attempt to smuggle 2.3 kilograms of marijuana into the country.
Another customs port, Al Buraimi, foiled an attempt to smuggle 34,250 boxes of illegal cigarettes, which were hidden under a fridge for vegetables.
