A strong storm battered wide areas of Japan leaving at least four people dead and more than 300 injured.
Two people were killed in a collision on an icy road in Nagoya, central Japan, and a 61-year-old man was found dead under a snow plough in Hakuba village in Nagano prefecture, state news agency (Kyodo) reported on Monday.
An 88-year-old man died in Fukuchiyama City in Kyoto prefecture when a greenhouse collapsed.
The storm, accompanied by heavy snowfall, led to the cancellation of about 130 flights. High-speed bullet trains were delayed between Tokyo and Kyoto.
