The loyalists of Daesh terrorist group have claimed they have confiscated several military equipment belonging to a US soldier.
The sympathizers of the terror group released several photographs which purportedly shows the confiscated military equipment along with an ID card of a US soldier.
The service member whose ID card and equipment captured by Daesh loyalists has been identified as Rayan Jay Larson.
The sympathizers of the terror group claimed that the equipment was seized after repelling a joint raid by the Afghan and US forces in Nangarhar province.
This comes as the coalition officials confirmed 5 US soldiers sustained injuries during an operation against ISIS terrorists in Nangarhar province.
The officials further added that the US soldiers were wounded during a joint operation with the Afghan special forces.
The Afghan commandos launched a major operation against the loyalists of the terror group in Nangarhar nearly two weeks and cleared the restive Kot district from the presence of Daesh militants.
The operations were launched amid concerns that the terror group is attempting to expand insurgency activities in the country.
The group claimed responsibility behind a deadly bombing in Kabul that left at least 80 people dead and over 200 others wounded.
