Austrian Interior Minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner said that a platform for sharing all intelligence services is needed to fight terrorism.
At a press conference on Wednesday, the minister said that such a platform for intelligence exchange needs to be set up within the next few weeks in light of the Brussels terror attacks, adding that "we have no time to lose."
She added so far the cooperation between various intelligence services has not functioned adequately, she said.
Only five states regularly add information to a so-called jihadist data bank, she added.
As to Austria, she said the intelligence service and other domestic authorities have thus far been cooperating very well.
