A total of 26 people died as the result of 26 separate accidents on Spain roads over the 10 days of the Easter Holiday weekend, according to data published on Tuesday by the Spanish General Direction of Traffic (DGT).
The deaths happened in various parts of Spain such as Catalonia, Valencia and the Basque Region. The DGT added 22 people also suffered serious injuries.
