Hull's Gedo is recovering from a foot injury Hull - Arabstoday English club Hull City boss Steve Bruce has told Egyptian striker, Mohamed Nagy Gedo, must prove his fitness before travelling to Ipswich Town on Friday. The Tigers face Ipswich at Portman Road in the Championship on Saturday. The 28-year-old frontman suffered a foot injury during his side's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough last weekend, and scans have revealed that it is a reoccurring problem. "We've given him the week off of full training to see how it turns out, and we'll have a look at him again before we travel," Bruce told the Mail. "He broke a bone in his foot five years ago and it looks like he aggravated it trying to block a ball," the coach added. "We'll just have to see how he responds to treatment. But there's no point in taking risks with so many big games coming up," Bruce concluded. Gedo, who signed for Hull City on loan from Cairo's al-Ahly in January, scored five goals in his first six matches. However, he has failed to score any goals in his last five games.
