Coach of FUS Rabat football team revealed that they give priority to the CAF Cup during the coming period, saying that they aspire to go further during the tournament. He stressed that the team will use the coming matches in the Moroccan league to prepare the players for the coming African matches
He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that he preferred not to push a number of the team’s players during the recent match against Raja Casablanca to protect them from any potential injuries. He added that he will depend on those players during the coming period in the African championship.
He added that he will exert his efforts to keep the team’s presence in the Moroccan league and to qualify for the final rounds of the CAF Cup, adding that he will use the coming matches to provide an opportunity to the young players. He added, “We managed to gain a team for the future.”
He blamed the increasing matches that the team performed during the recent two years, saying that the players did not get any opportunity to rest during the recent months. He added that the team turns to depend on its youth teams to gain new players, adding that they have not the enough budget to buy new players from the other teams.
He expressed his confidence that his young players can perform well during the coming period to meet his expectations and the aspirations of their fans during the coming tournaments, including CAF Cup.
