French manager Henryk Kasperzack Cairo – Omar Al-Banoubi The President of Egypt's Zamalek sports club, Mamdouh Abbas, has decided to hire a foreign coach to lead Zamalek's football team to end the intense dispute among its board members about a successor to Hassan Shehata. Abbas will start extensive negotiations with veteran French manager Henryk Kasperzack to lead the team in the coming stage, as a replacement for Shehata. The idea of a foreign coach came after disagreements arose among the Zamalek board after member Hazim Imam insisted on appointing retired Egyptian striker and coach Hossam Hassan whereas Ibrahim Youssef wished to appoint his brother Ismail Youssef as coach. Others recommended Tareq Yahia, coach for up and coming team Masr Maqasa of the MCSD company. Kasperczak was previously ooised to become Zamalek coach, but after coming to Cairo, he disagreed with the club on financial issues, and left without signing the contract.
