Egyptian footballer Mohamed Hamdy Al Winsh of Zamalek sporting club denied what was published over his protest against the decision not to participate during the recent match against Gaish in the framework of Egyptian Premier League.
He added, in a statement to "Arabs Today", "I have not expressed protest, while I was sad for not participating. It is the decision of the team's coach Mohamed Helmy, as I do not have the right to protest."
He stressed, "It makes me proud to play for Zamalek. I always respect the coaching staff's decisions, as I gave the priority to the interests of the team." He expressed their desire to win the league this season, saying that they have the opportunity to achieve this objective.
He added, "We are still in the beginning of the second leg, while the players insist on winning all the coming matches."
