Egyptian coach of Ahly football team expressed his pleasure for the performance of his players during the latest match against Zambian team of Zanaco held on Saturday in the framework of CAF Champions League. He added that the team played just to win the match since its beginning to ensure qualification for the coming round.
He added that the team aims to win the coming match against Cameroon’s Cotton Sport, saying that it is the only option to win the coming match to qualify for the quarter final of the African championship. He stressed that the players failed to seize a large number of opportunities during the latest match, adding that they were able to score, while they failed to seize the opportunities.
He stressed that his players enjoy the suitable experience to win CAF Champions League this season, saying that it is important for the team to win the first match in the group stage to take a step towards qualification for the coming round.
He stressed that the competition will be difficult, while the players realize the responsibility on their shoulders, expressing his confidence that the players will meet the fans’ expectations. The coach of the Egyptian team expressed his pleasure for the attendance of fans during the coming match, saying that he hopes that the fans will be allowed to attend the local matches of the Egyptian Premier League in the near future.
