Jordanian security staff said they were forced to interfere between Palestinian and Tajikistani players after they were sent off the field. The fight started when the Palestinian and Tajikistani players quarreled with hands during the match, causing the referee to send both players off. This caused the Palestinian player to hit the Tajikistani one and a fight broke out before security forces pulled them off one another. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
