Gedo is part of Hull's Egyptian contingent Hull - Arabstoday Egyptian striker Mohamed Nagy ‘Gedo’ scored his second goal in as many matches to guide English Championship side Hull City to a narrow 1-0 win over Charlton Athletic on Saturday. The 28-year old, on loan from al-Ahly, fired home the scrappy winner from close range after Charlton goalkeeper Ben Hamer failed to clear a corner. Gedo went close to scoring a second goal near the hour mark, but his header from fellow countryman Ahmed Elmohamady's cross drifted wide. He was named Hull City's man of the match, and singled out for special praise by Hull boss Steve Bruce. The forward, who moved to Hull City last month, has settled in superbly, having scored in his Tigers' debut against Derby County last Tuesday.
