Several Israeli soldiers were killed and many wounded in Jerusalem after a truck rammed into the sidewalk near Armon Hanatziv, an Israeli settlement neighborhood south of East Jerusalem.
According to Luba Samiri, Israeli police spokeswoman the truck veered from its course and rammed into a group of soldiers who were getting off a bus, WAFA News Agency reported on Sunday.
Israeli police restricted access to the area.
Samiri said four soldiers in their 20s were killed, while 15 were injured with one critical injury, four with moderate injuries and 10 with light wounds.
But the latest reports said six Israeli soldiers were killed and many others wounded.
She said the man driving the truck was shot dead on the spot.
