A Palestinian teen was shot dead on Thursday morning after he reportedly infiltrated the settlement of Kiryat Arba, stabbed an Israeli teen girl causing her serious injuries that lead to her death.
According to Israeli sources, the assailant, who was identified as Mohammed Tarayra, 17, from Bani Nuaim village near Hebron, has ‘infiltrated’ the illegal settlement and stabbed a 15-year-old girl before her father came to the scene.
According to the Jpost, another man, a 30-year-old settler was seriously wounded, but it is “not clear whether it was by the stabbing or by another settler’s fire directed at the Palestinian staber.”
The girl was taken to the Sha’are Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and the 30-year-old male was taken in serious condition to the Hadassah Medical Center in Ein Karem.
Following the stabbing, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) broke into Bani Nuaim village, closed down its entrances and exits, and invaded the assailant’s family home.
Last week, a Palestinian woman, mother, Majd Al-Khdour, from the village was killed by Israeli Forces under an alleged car-ramming attack near the settlement of Kiryat Arba’.
In march as well, a relative of Mohammed, Yousef Tarayra (19) had been killed under the same pretext at the same spot.
