Palestinian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday held the Israeli government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for the terrorism exercised by Jewish settlers against Palestinian people.
In a press statement released on Wednesday, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the attack by extremist settlers who torched the house of Mohamed Dawabsheh's family in the West Bank city of Duma village.
The action comes a year after setting ablaze another house of the same family and killing a Palestinian, his wife and his baby.
The statement asserted that the Israeli government is planning and funding the settlement building activities and is continuing its protection for the terrorism of settlers against Palestinian people without bringing them to justice.
The statement called on the international community and UN Security Council to urgently provide international protection for the Palestinian people and put to trial the settlers involved in such crimes.
Local sources said Palestinian fire fighters rushed to the scene and contained the fire at the house.
No casualties were reported, the source said.
Israeli occupation forces released 15 out of the 17 settlers who are involved in carrying out violence acts against Palestinian people, including those involved in torching Dawabsheha's house.
