Two Palestinian fishermen were injured on Wednesday after Israeli navy opened fire on their fishing boats off the As-Sudanyeh coast in the northern Gaza Strip.
The head of Gaza's Fishermen Syndicate, Nizar Ayash, said that "the two fishermen were injured when Israeli naval vessels opened fire at their fishing boasts off the As-Sudanyeh coast, despite the fact that they were sailing in the allowed fishing zone." The spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Ashraf Al-Qudweh, said that the two fishermen were transferred to Al-Shifaa hospital where they received medical treatment.
