Israeli authorities will allow limited deliveries of goods and humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip on Sunday, Palestinian officials said. Liaison officer Raed Fattouh told the Palestinian (Ma'an) news agency that Israeli officials decided to allow 230 truckloads of supplies to enter Gaza through the southernmost Kerem Abu Salem crossing. Fattouh said 34 trucks would bring building materials for UN-funded projects, while six trucks would bring steel pipes for projects funded by the German Development Agency. Limited quantities of domestic-use gas will also be pumped into the Gaza Strip, Fattouh added.
