Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinian fishermen off the coast of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
Local sources said that Israeli gunboats attacked a fishing boat off the Gaza coast and arrested the three Palestinians and sank the boat .
They also opened fire at other fishing boats off the shores of Sudaniyah district in northeastern Gaza.
The 1993 Oslo Accord established access to the sea for Gaza within 20 nautical miles (nearly 37 kilometers) from the shore. However, the Israeli occupation authorities reduced this area to just 6 miles.
According to statistics, there are nearly 3,500 fishermen, who have 700 fishing boats in Gaza.
