Israeli forces detained 17 Palestinians, including four minors, and ransacked a number of homes in overnight raids across the West Bank, said security and local sources on Tuesday.
Four Palestinians were detained from Hebron district, five others from Jerusalem area, including one from the Old City, four from Ramallah district and four minors ranging in age between 9 and 11 years from the Nablus district, Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided a house in Qalqilya in the north of the West Bank on Tuesday prompting clashes with local Palestinian youth. Soldiers fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades at the youths who were protesting the raid. No injuries were reported.
