Egypt's Ambassador to Sudan Ossama Shaltout said there are plans for increasing the volume of Egyptian investments in Sudan.
In statements to the Sudanese News Agency on Saturday, Shaltout said Egypt's investments in Sudan ranked fourth compared with other countries.
Egyptian investments in Sudan has actually reached dlrs a billion, but investments could reach up to dlrs 10 billions, he explained.
The Egyptian diplomat said Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir has recently met with Egyptian investors to discuss their problems and settle them in view of the Egyptian leadership directives of establishing Egyptian investments in Sudan
