President Abdel Fattah El Sisi asserted Tuesday that Egypt welcomes serious investments that depend on human development (HRD) and technology transfer for achieving economic goals.
The president made the remarks during a meeting with Chairwoman of Huawei's Board of Directors Sun Yafang, presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said.
During the meeting, President Sisi reviewed 'Seeds for the Future' program which is being carried out by the Chinese company in cooperation with Egypt's Ministry Of Communication & Information Technology, Yousef added.
The program provides training courses for fresh information technology graduates on the cutting edge technologies, the spokesman added.
Also, they discussed efforts exerted to expand Huawei's business in Egypt in new development projects, the spokesman said.
The meeting was attended by the ministers of industry and electricity along with senior officials at the Chinese industry.
