Egypt under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will witness quantum leaps in economic development, affirmed Libyan Information Minister Omar Qweri.
He also hailed cooperation ties between Egypt and Libya in the various spheres.
In exclusive statements to MENA, Qweri congratulated the Egyptian nation on the opening of the New Suez Canal, which is slated for Thursday.
The opening of this vital project shows the national support of Egypt's wise leadership, he added.
He, meanwhile, extended a message to the Coptic Egyptians, saying that the Copts are brothers to us either in Libya or any other Arab country.
"They are always welcome in Libya," he went on to affirm.
The Libyan minister warned of the danger of terrorist groups in the Arab countries, adding that the war with Daesh terrorist group is not easy.
