Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Sunday said that the Egypt Economic Development Conference, due to be held on March 13-15, is meant to promote for investment in Egypt.
In an interview with Sky News TV channel, Mahlab asserted that the Egyptian government seeks to issue an investment law that removes all obstacles that face investors.
A clear mechanism will be adopted to resolve all disputes, if any, the Premiere said, pointing out that the pending investment disputes would be settled soon.
The prime minister noted that the government sought help of law professors and judges as well as potential Egyptian and foreigner businessmen to issue an "appropriate" investment law.
"Investors should first make sure that Egypt enjoys security and political stability," he said.
