Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said a committee under the international cooperation minister is preparing for an economic summit due in February, 2015.
During his visit to the cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) headquarters in Cairo on Saturday, Mahlab said the country needs plans and analysis especially in the education, health and infrastructure fields.
He urged the IDSC to contribute to preparing for the economic summit due to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh next year.
The government is keen on planning and it has drawn up a plan for Egypt until 2030, Mahlab further said.
He asserted the importance of making citizens confident that the government has a certain vision and that it is working on implementing it.
