Economic conference preparations underway

Matrouh Governor Alaa Abu Zeid said Sunday preparations for the economic conference in Mersa Matrouh was underway.
The conference was agreed upon during a visit by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab to the governorate on March 23 and 24.
The conference will propose several investment opportunities to Egyptian, Arab and foreign investors, he said.
Preparations for the conference will take place in Dubai ahead of the June event, he said.
The governorate covers the area from Western Alexandria till Salloum city on the western borders with Libya.
