Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab asserted the importance of the commitment of all companies working within the national roads project.
This came on Saturday during his meeting with Transportation Minister Hany Dahy, head of General Authority For Roads, Bridges & Land Transport and heads of contracting companies implementing the project.
The meeting aimed to review the work flow; the premier urged the companies to work 24 hours in three shifts until they finalize the implementation of the roads according to the timeline.
He assigned transportation minister to follow up the work flow and submit a weekly report to him.
During the meeting, Dahy said the project includes the establishment of 13 roads at a cost of 17.024 billion pounds, adding that the roads will run through 14 different governorates.
