The reporter of mbc in Jordan, Rania Al Nemr said that she aims to become an influential person in the Arab community through preparing and presenting programs that tackle extremism and terrorism issues, as well as citizenship, democracy, rule of law and human rights, pointing out that she has an idea for a program, but it needs funding.
Al Nemr added, in an interview with Arabs Today, that a number of difficulties facing this type of programs, because all channels focus on wars and armed conflicts in the Arab world, as well as entertainment, therefore there is a lack of development programs that contribute to the empowerment of communities.
According to Al Nemr, Kalam Nawaem program is very famous and managed to make a difference in the most important social issues that were considered taboo. The program invited senior figures in the Arab world such as Queen Rania and Hillary Clinton.
In an interview with Arabs Today, Al Nemr said that hosting Jordan's Queen Rania Al Abdullah was one of the best things in her career.
Al Nemr said the media plays a very important role in raising awareness among communities by shedding light on the most important issues. Moreover, the media has a role in the formation of public opinion towards a certain issue through effective mobilization.
