British author J.K. Rowling took to Twitter to express her reaction to the weekend finale of the BBC's adaptation of her mystery novel The Casual Vacancy.
"@CampbellJonny1 @PhelpsieSarah Well, that's me crying my eyes out, so job done. Serves me right, some might say. Thank you, thank you xxx," the scribe tweeted Sunday.
The three-part miniseries was directed by Jonny Campbell from a screenplay by Sarah Phelps. Starring Michael Gambon, Keeley Hawes, Rufus Jones, Rory Kinnear and Julia McKenzie, the program is to premiere in the United States on HBO this spring.
