The Algerian singer Fulla has told Arabstoday that there is no truth to rumours about a duet in the making between her and Tunisian singer Saber Al-Robaie. Fulla said she was surprised by the news, saying that she admires Saber Al-Robaie and she enjoyed his songs. Fulla also criticised the artists who didn't support Syrian singer George Wassouf after he has suffered from temporary paralysis. "Some people visited him only for showing their support to the media, while now, I see nobody besides him. I think he now knows who his true friends are and who's exploiting his illness," said Fulla. Fulla insisted that nobody could ruin her relationship with Egyptians, citing the recent rejection of her request to visit. She said: "Hosni Mubarak's regime has worked against me, and even jailed me to keep me away from Egypt, but now I will surely return."
