An official session of talks between the Sultanate and the Tunisian Republic was held at the Foreign Ministry's premises yesterday. During the session, the Omani side was chaired by Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs while the Tunisian side was chaired by Dr Rafeeq Abdulsalam, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Tunisian Republic. The session discussed aspects of co-operation between the two brotherly countries, issues of common concern and the situations in the Arab region, in addition to the current international issues. The talks session was attended from the Omani side by Ahmed bin Yousef al Harthy, Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, Ali bin Ahmed al Issaei, Head of the Minister's Office Department and Saif bin Nassir al Bada'ei, Head of the Arab Maghreb Department while it was attended from the Tunisian side by Tariq al Adab, Ambassador of the Tunisian Republic to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying the guest.
