Thousands of social, youth, media and artistic figures on Tuesday participated in the festivity of raising the biggest map of Syria at the foot of Aleppo Citadel. The festivity is held by the Aleppo Youths' Pulse Gathering in cooperation with Syriatel Telecommunication Company. The map is about 65m long, 45m wide, and 1.5 ton weight. It is made of 6 layers of fabrics and padded with decron fiber. Governor of Aleppo Province, Mowafak Khallouf, said that these activities embody the willpower of the Syrian people in the face of the colonial schemes targeting the independency of the Syrian stances. Head of the Gathering, Mahmoud Hilal, said that the main message of this activity is to convey the youths' support for the reform program led by President Bashar al-Assad and to stress adherence to the national unity.
