The Military Prosecutor Colonel Dr. Yussef Rashid Flaifel today stated that the National Safety Court of Appeals held its session today and issued verdicts in a number of appeals by defendants involved in the case of plotting to topple the leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain,in which the Court decided to approve the appeal as following: 1 – Abdulwahab Hussain Ali Ahmed have been sentenced to life imprisonment. 2 – Hassan Ali Hassan Mohammed Moshamea have been sentenced to life imprisonment. 3 - Mohammed Habeeb Al Safaf (Al Meqdad) have been sentenced to life imprisonment. 4 – Abduljaleel Radhi Mansour Maki have been sentenced to life imprisonment. 5 – Abduljaleel Abdulla Al Sankees have been sentenced to life imprisonment. 6 - Saeed Mirza Ahmed (Al Nori) have been sentenced to life imprisonment. 7 – Abdulhadi Abdulla Mahdi Hassan have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. 8 – Abdulla Isa Al Mahroos have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. 9 – Abdulhadi Abdulla Hubail Al Khawaja have been sentenced to life imprisonment . 10 – Salah Abdulla Hubail Al Khawaja have been sentenced to five years in prison. 11 – Ibrahim Shareef Abdulrahim Moussa have been sentenced to five years in prison. 12 – Mohammed Hassan Mohammed Jawad have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. 13 – Mohammed Ali Radhi Ismael have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. 14 – Yousif Mohammed Al Sumaikh have been sentenced to two years in prison. The Military Prosecutor Colonel stated that those mentioned above were accused of : 1 – Establishing and managing a terrorist group to overthrow and change the state constitution with joining that group. 2 – Collaboration with a terrorist organization abroad, working for a foreign country in order to commit hostile acts against the Kingdom of Bahrain. 3 – They attempt to change the state constitution and rules of royal power by force. 4 - Promoting for the change of the political system in the Kingdom by force. 5 – Collecting and giving money to the terrorist group knowing exercise terrorist activity. 6 – The possession of publications that promote the change of the political system in the Kingdom by force by using illegal means. 7 – Promoting false news and spreading malicious propaganda that harm public security and interest. 8 - incitement of hatred against people. 9 - Incitement to non-compliance with the law. 10 - Organizing and participating in unlicensed protests without notifying the authority. The Military Prosecutor Colonel added that all defendants can appeal at the Court of Cassation according to decree by law No. 28 for the year 2011, asserting that there are further seven fugitives from justice in the same case has already been convicted by the Court of First Instance of the National Safety, they are as following: 1 – Saeed AbdulNabi Mohammed Shehab have been sentenced to life imprisonment . 2 - Akeel Ahmed Ali Al Sari have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. 3 – Abulraouf Abdulla Ahmed Al Shayeb have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. 4 – Abbas AbdulAziz Nasser Al Omran have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. 5 – Ali Hassan Ali Moshamea have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. 6 – AbdulGhani Isa Ali Khanjar have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. 7 – Ali Hassan AbdulAmam have been sentenced to 15 years in prison. The hearing was attended by representatives of human rights associations, as well as representatives from the media, and a number family members of defendants and victims.
