The Head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish announced that the authority will participate for the second year in row in celebrations marking the World Autism Awareness Day by lighting its historic and main buildings in blue on Saturday and Sunday.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Memish affirmed that the authority is keen on activating its societal role via supporting constructive initiatives and adopting number of service projects that touch the needs of employees in the authority and residents of the Suez Canal cities.
He stressed the importance of offering needed medical care for the children with special abilities especially the autistic ones, adding that the Suez Canal Authority established a center specialized in caring with children with special abilities last year to merge them in the society.
For his part, the director of the authority's services Hany Tawfik Hana said that the authority saves no effort to develop the medical services offered to citizens via the authority's hospital and medical centers affiliated to it.
