Sudanese president meets heir apparent

President of the Republic of Sudan Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir met with HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at the Guest House on Sunday afternoon.  At the outset of the meeting, HH the Heir Apparent conveyed greetings of the Emir of Qatar HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani to President al-Bashir, wishing more progress and prosperity to the Sudanese people.  For his part, the Sudanese President entrusted HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani with his greetings and wishes of best of health and happiness to HH the Emir and more progress and welfare to the State of Qatar.  Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral ties between the two countries and means of enhancing them besides a number of regional and international issues.  The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Heir Apparent.  On the Sudanese side, the meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers.
