Iraqi Council of Representatives Speaker Saleem Al Jubouri met with the Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq Jan Kubis.
During the meeting, they reviewed the latest political and security developments in Iraq, in addition to the aerial bombardment of civilians in Mosul and the need to be accurate in directing air strikes and taking into account the population density of the city.
Al Jubouri called on the United Nations and humanitarian organizations to make every effort to help the displaced people and provide them with food and health assistance.
For his part, Kubis said that the United Nations, with the assistance of international organizations, seeks to provide all means of aid and relief for the displaced in Mosul.
