Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi returned today to Doha after participating in the 24th conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, which took place in Rabat in Morocco.
The conference discussed a number of subjects including reports on the union's activities in the previous years, as well as reports on the 20th and 21st session. The schedule of this year's conference also included the union's regional and international activities. It also touch upon the meetings of the union's committee, which covers political, financial, economic and social issues concerned with women and children. Another subject that was on schedule this year was the union's 2017 budget among other administrative and financial issues.
