National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim adjourned Tuesday the regular session due to lack of quorum until a new government is announced in the wake of the Kuwaiti cabinet's resignation.
"Due to lack of quorum, the caretaker government has informed me it will not attend any further sessions until a new government is in place. So, I am adjourning the session in waiting for that," he noted On Monday, the cabinet tendered its resignation, with an Amiri Order issued in acceptance. Al-Ghanim said he would not be calling for any more sessions until a new government is formed.
