Egypt's Dar al Iftaa's Takfiri Fatwa Observatory on Saturday vehemently condemned targeting Copts in Sinai, stressing that treacherous terror attacks will only increase the determination of Egyptians to defeat terrorism.
Such terror attacks aim at striking national unity and create divisions among ranks in face of terrorism, the observatory said in a statement issued on Saturday.
All its divisive efforts to destabilize the country will go in vain, the statement indicated, adding that these extremist groups have nothing to do with Islam.
It underscored the necessity of confronting any attempts that are meant to harm the national fabric and sow sedition.
Earlier, Al Azhar has condemned the terror attacks the target Copts in North Sinai, deeming it a crime committed against Egyptians at large.
