An Official Source at the Saudi Embassy in Syria said that as regards a video clip reported by some internet websites about a Saudi citizen killed in Syria, it was clear to the Embassy that the news report is true, his correct name is Hussein Bin Bandar Bin Khalaf Al-Anzi; and he was killed at dawn on Monday, 21/11/2011, in the city of Homs, Syria. The Embassy has learnt that the citizen was on a visit to his relatives in the city of Homs and that it has not received any communication from the Syrian competent authorities or from his family about the crime, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).The Source said, "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia views with great concern this criminal attack. The Embassy has contacted Syrian competent authorities to know about the circumstances surrounding this crime and demanded the arrest of the perpetrators and bring them to justice; and it will follow up with these authorities.'' The Embassy called on Saudi nationals in Syria to stay away from the areas of tension for their own safety, also calling on them for continuing communication with the Embassy so that the Embassy can communicate with them or their families for any emergency.
