The Ministry of Saudi Foreign Affairs affirmed today that there is no truth of news about the closure of Saudi Embassy in the Republic of Yemen, pointing out that the closure is limited only to the Consular Section of the Embassy temporarily. An Official Source of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement this morning reported by Saudi News Agency (SPA), 'The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has followed up news reported by some media that the Kingdom has closed its Embassy in the Republic of Yemen. To illustrate this matter, the Ministry affirmed that there is no truth about this news, that the closure is limited only to the Consular Section of the Embassy temporarily, and that matter does not prevent the Embassy from issuing the necessary visas for humanitarian and important cases.' the statement said.
