Qatar, Jordan discuss cooperation

Jordanian Director General of the Civil Defense Department Major General Talal Koufahi and the visiting Director General of the Civil Defense Brigadier General Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Suwaidi discussed today ways of enhancing the cooperation between Jordan and Qatar in the civil defense, protection, rescue and aid areas as well as in exchanging experiences to improve field performance and implement humanitarian duties. Brigadier Al Suwaidi toured the rescue directorate in the center of the capital Amman, and was briefed on the latest machinery and equipment used by the civil defense to carry out its duties efficiently and effectively. He also watched a placebo exercise on rescue, firefighting and ambulance efforts.
