The Supreme State Security Prosecution, under Counselor Khaled Diaa Eldin, decided on Sunday to remand three members of the terrorist cell that was behind Palm Sunday church attacks for 15 days pending investigations.
The three suicide bombers have been identified as Salama Wahab Allah Abbas, Abdel Rahman Hassan Mubarak and Ali Shaht Hussin Shehatah.
The defendants are facing accusations of joining an outlaw group that aims at undermining the law and constitution, hampering the activities of state institutions, violating the freedom of citizens as well as harming the national unity and social peace.
The extremist group also instigates violence and riot against rulers, incites targeting Coptic citizens, their worship places and property along with destabilizing that nation and terrorizing citizens.
After arresting the three terrorists, security apparatuses confirmed their affiliation with a takfiri group that has received military training.
