President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Thursday afternoon returned home after his participation I the 28th Arab Summit in Jordan.
He was received at Khartoum Airport by the First Vice - President and National Prime Minister, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, and a number of ministers and senior officials.
In a press statement, the Foreign Minister said that the summit was characterized by accord, indicating that the address give President of the Republic at the summit has included Sudan visions on a number of Arab issues, such as the support to the legitimate government in Yemen, the situation in Libya and Sudan support to the National Accord, which is chaired Dr. Fayez Al-Sarraj, the situation in Syria and the importance of peace and accord there, the situation in Iraq and the terrorist acts there as well as the conditions in Somalia.
He indicated that the President of the Republic has referred in his address before the summit to the completion of dialogue in Sudan, the appointment of the Prime Minister and the upcoming announcement of the national accord government in Sudan.
Prof. Ghandour said that the President of the Republic has pointed in his address to the initiatives of the Arab food security and rehabilitation in Sudan which were sponsored by the Arab League.
