Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar on Tuesday asserted that the Egyptian Police Academy will remain undertaking its role in training African security cadres in support of the security of all Africa.
The remark was made on the occasion marking the 30th anniversary of the African Center for Anti-Crime Research and Studies.
He explained that the center since its establishment in 1986 until now trained up to 6,924 cadres from 49 African countries.
He added that today's celebration marks 30 years of Egyptian-African security partnership.
The celebration also reflects one of the major pillars of the Egyptian security policy which achieves several accomplishments in fighting crime in all in its forms, he added.
