Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry has launched, in cooperation with the e-Government Authority, the "Pilgrim Registration Enquiry" service, which will allow pilgrims to verify their registration for Hajj with their respective Hajj Caravans through the e-government portal (www.bahrain.bh). Chief of Hajj and Umrah Affairs Shaikh Abdul Nasser Abdulla reiterated the Ministry's keen interest to provide the best services for all the citizens, in cooperation with the e-Government Authority, adding that the new service aims to remind pilgrims of the need to join a licensed Hajj Caravan in order to avert any legal problems. In this context, he called upon all those who want to perform Hajj rituals for this year to register with authorized Hajj agencies before October 13th in order to enable the concerned sides to take the necessary procedures. It is to be noted that the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry will launch 17 other year-round e-services.
