Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Cairo on Friday today for talks with Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, Chairman of Egypt's Supreme Council of the Armed Forces on the latest developments of the Palestinian question, and the peace process. Palestine's Ambassador in Cairo and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League Dr. Barakat Al-Farra said yesterday that Abbas' talks would touch on the response to the Israeli side to the letter sent by Palestinian President to the Prime Minister of Israel on the peace process. He pointed out that the Palestinian president will also meet during the visit with a number of officials, including the Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Arabi discuss future steps regarding the Palestinian cause.
