"The Sultanate expressed its severe condemnation of the terrorist explosion that targeted a metro station at St Petersburg in the friendly Russian Federation leading to the death and injury of scores of innocent victims," said a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today.
"The Sultanate expresses sincere condolences for the government and people of the Russian Federation, as well as families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured," the statement added.
At the end of the statement, the Sultanate reaffirmed its solidarity with the friendly Russian Federation in facing violence and terrorism and taking necessary measures to protect its security and stability.
