UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met Monday evening with the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, who is currently visiting the UAE. During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between the UAE and Iraq on one hand and between the UAE and Kurdistan region on the other hand, especially in connection with cultural, trade and investment relations. According to WAM news agency, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid stressed his country’s keenness on the stability of Iraq in order to achieve development. He also reviewed with Barzani, the overall political and security situation in Iraq and the efforts of all parties to bridge the gap in the political structure for the sake of Iraq unity. Barzani arrived in Abu Dhabi earlier on Monday on a two-day visit.
