Ten accidents were reported across the emirate, causing heavy congestion and long tailbacks during rush hour.
According to @TrafficDXB, an accident on Sheikh Zayed Road before Mall of the Emirates towards the World Trade Centre caused a build-up of traffic.
Three accidents took place on Emirates Road before and after the Maliha Riad intersection south-bound, causing tailbacks lasting up to an hour.
An accident was reported on Maliha Road before the Emirates Road intersection, towards Kalba, and on Al Khail Road, southbound near the Zabeel-Oud Metha Road exit, an accident led to more delays.
A crash on Ras Al Khor Road after the Dubai Mall exit towards Abu Dhabi also caused congestion.
Further delays were reported on Al Dhaid Road near Sharjah Airport Free Zone towards Emirates Road after an accident.
A major accident on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road after National Paints, south-bound near the Dubai border, was also reported.
On Garn Al Sabka Road after Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road exit towards Sheikh Zayed Road and Jumeirah, another crash caused heavy congestion for motorists heading to work.
